Hi there. I just found your blog (came from Mir's site) and I am reading it from the beginning. I mist say I am am quite entertained. There is one thing I need say as a former Atlanta resident and still a loyal Falcon's fan. YOU CAN'T LIKE THE SAINTS AND BE A REAL FALCON"S FAN! Yes I did shout that. Ahem. Back to my normal ladylike southern demeanor ;-). As a long time fan you must know that years ago when the Falcons sucked and the Saints were the Aint's they always battled it out for the worst team in their division. Since the best we Falcon fans could hope for was "not the worst team" you had to root for the Saints to be on the bottom. This instills a deep hatred for any team that might make my beloved Falcons look bad, usually the Saints. Follow the logic? OK, back to reading 2009 :-)

You know, I wasn't really a fan of NFL football until relatively recently -- I mean, I didn't really understand the politics that you so eloquently describe. Oh heck, who am I kidding, I still have gut favorites. I mean, I love the Falcons, but I also liked the Colts but that was mostly because of Peyton. That probably turned you off completely, didn't it.
Oh no, I am not turned off at all. I LOVE all the Mannings, even that traitor Archie! It is a good thing the Saints had a crap team while he was their Quarterback or the Falcons would have been in real trouble. Archie Manning's claim to fame is "the best QB in the NFL without a team". My next pet will be named Peyton. Like the snark,love your blog! :)
